We Got Our Hour Back, the Temp. is Above 60 and We Are Headed West

A VERY brisk walk along the Niagara River to view the raging Niagara Falls once again was the beginning of our day yesterday--a great beginning. A blown tire and having to purchase new tires at a Costco in Avon, Ohio was the way we ended our day--not a great ending. A slight set back, but we left Avon bright and early this morning and drove along the beautiful coastline of Lake Erie. Then we drove west through Ohio with its beautiful red barns and picturesque farms. In Indiana we took a side trip to see the Amish town of Shipshewanna. We especially found the line of black carriages tied up to hitching posts outside the Wells Fargo Bank to be an interesting sight. The farms were lovely and I just wanted to drive down every road to see their farms and houses. Driving through Chicago was an experience we were glad is over. We are now in Madison, Wisconsin, and looking forward to heading west.
