Wednesday, April 15th, we breezed out of New York and headed northeast. Our first stop was at Mystic Seaport, Connecticut. What a gorgeous little seaport village; it has the best boat bookstore and nautical art that we had ever seen. It had several historic tall ships, including the Joseph
P. Conrad, on display in the water. We enjoyed revisting Newport, Rhode Island again and driving by some of the mansions of the "old money" families. "The 
Breakers" is one of the largest. We drove to the bottom of Cape Cod to a little town called, Sandwich, just east of Sagamore. There we stayed in a church that ha
d been made into a bed and breakfast. It really was lovely with its high ceilings, period furniture, and 
beautiful stained glass windows. Enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room as well.
