The best part of our day was spending time with David and Grace (she is adorable). We really needed to spend at least a week here (we walked at least a week's worth of miles though), but we made the most of our day. As we gazed at the magnificence of the capital building itself, we felt a renewed pride in this w
onderful country we live in. Up close and from far away, 
architecturally the capital is gorgeous! We enjoyed the tour of the capital and I learned that the fresco in the dome

of American History was the "puffy shirt" from the famous Sienfelt episode. The cherry blossoms were blooming and a great day was had by all.
