Resting and Relaxing in Florida

We had our laziest day today and really needed a day to just veg out and refocus. We went to

Pompano Beach and I even went swimming, actually more like playing in the waves.

The beach was beautiful and heavily populated with sun bathers, sand castle builders, shell collectors, and surf swimmers. The temperature is just about perfect and the water was warm and very inviting.

We've also noticed (and appreciated) that gas prices are much lower in the east than in California. So far the lowest we've encountered is $1.79/gallon in Mississippi.
